Location of Budapest 

Budapest, the capital of Hungary, is located in the central part of the country, on the banks of the Danube. It sits at the crossroads of Eastern and Western Europe, approximately 243 kilometers (151 miles) southeast of Vienna, Austria, and about 525 kilometers (326 miles) northeast of Zagreb, Croatia.
